8. Course objectives

Gaining  knowledge of the causes of cancer, signs and symptoms of cancer, diagnostic techniques and laboratory methods used in cancer screening and diagnosis. 

Presentations of the risk factors for the development of cancer, as well as pathomechanisms and measures taken in the prevention of cancer.

Presenting the epidemiology of cancer and its impact on public health.
